The surreal portrayal of these real landscapes intends to stimulate our repressed childlike curiosity of exploring the fantastical realms. Growing up, we forget how to tap into our creative curiosity. As artists, we have the onus and the creative mind to spur the same emotion in the viewer's mind through our art. I have taken elements from various fantasy fiction books and movies and tried to find a real-world version of them in this series.
